Session Structure

Therapy is most effective when there is continuity over time. Most clients meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, and extended sessions are available when additional time is helpful to deepen exploration and work with more complex or emotionally rich material.

  • Standard Session (60 minutes): $200

  • Extended Session (90 minutes): $300

Note: Because my approach is experiential and often involves working directly with emotional and somatic processes, sessions are scheduled for a minimum of 60 minutes. Many psychotherapy practices use a 50-minute “therapy hour,” and session fees in my practice reflect the longer format.

Medicine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Medicine-assisted psychotherapy, when offered, is integrated within ongoing psychotherapy and is available only to established clients after a minimum of six months of treatment. It is considered selectively, as an adjunct to psychotherapy, when clinically appropriate.

I only work with legally prescribed medicines that have scientific evidence of therapeutic use when combined with psychotherapy, and only within Canadian law and professional regulations. I do not prescribe, administer, supply, or recommend medicines. All medicines must be prescribed and medically supervised by a licensed physician, who remains fully responsible for medical screening, eligibility, dosing, and oversight.

Medical fees are separate from psychotherapy fees.

Medicine-Assisted Sessions

  • Cannabis-Assisted Session (2 hours): $400

When legally prescribed, may support present-moment awareness and emotional accessibility within psychotherapy.

  • Ketamine-Assisted Session (2.5 hours): $500 (plus medical fees)

When prescribed and medically supervised, may support the psychotherapeutic processing of difficult or traumatic material.

  • MDMA-Assisted Session (8 hours): $1,600 (plus medical fees)

Available only with authorization through Health Canada’s Special Access Program (SAP). All medical aspects are managed by the prescribing physician.

Important: I do not offer underground or illicit services and do not facilitate access to non-prescribed substances. Participation is subject to clinical, legal, and ethical eligibility.

How to Begin: Step-by-Step

Because this work is depth-oriented, beginning therapy involves a multi-step intake process designed to support clarity and mutual fit.

Is This the Right Time?

Experiential therapy works best when there is enough safety and stability to support emotional work.

It may not be the right fit right now if:

  • you are in acute crisis

  • your environment is unsafe

  • you want a purely intellectual approach

  • you are seeking rapid symptom relief without emotional engagement

  • you feel pressured rather than ready

At some stages, starting with safety and stabilization is the most supportive place to begin.
